When I started Gonenutz in 1997 I was initially interested in only pet care. When I would visit clients at our initial interview they would always ask if I could turn on a light or bring in the paper to make it look like someone was home. What started as dog walking quickly turned into vacation home sitting. Extended time away from your home can be nerve racking. Some of my clients leave for months at a time. Having the convenience of someone watching their homes, making sure the yard hasn’t burned in the summer sun, or pipes haven’t broken in the winter, are just a few examples of why you can feel at ease when away. I have a farming background so I learned a lot about simple repairs, irrigation systems, pool filters, etc. One time a client’s freezer broke down in August, it was one of our hot summers. Costs for Home Monitoring will be based on number of visits, duties and length of vacation travel.
