A 28 year resident of Rancho Murieta, my husband and I formed GoneNutz in 1997. Initially, my focus was providing custom canvas coverings, accessories for bird cages in a formal home setting. Having 6 parrots (four of which were rescues), a 140 lb Chocolate Lab, a mini Daschund, a 20 year old cat, fish and turtles, it soon became apparent how difficult it is to find a pet care provider for a group such as ours. Our parrots, in particular, introduced a need for an entirely different level and expertise of care! We share other pet owners concern when entrusting our pets' care to anyone other than family. We also know how disappointing it is to cancel plans due to our inability to locate that person with whom we are comfortable caring for our pets, while in our home. So I know, when you leave, you don’t want to worry about how yours are doing while you are away. Any disruption in their world, no matter how minor we perceive it to be, is not insignificant to them. I also understand the need for their physical activity and socialization.
It has been my desire, from the onset, that all pets receive experienced, loving and safe care when entrusted to me. While I maintain that the parrot is the most challenging, I have yet to encounter a pet I did not enjoy, even those with a trace of undisciplined behavior. I truly enjoy providing this service and enjoy seeing my clients as much as they enjoy seeing me.
